We were delighted to see two of our patients, Rina and Brian Beechey from Gorey, share their experience of the HSE Chronic Disease Prevention Programme in a recent feature in The Irish Times.

The programme — which Brian describes as "an NCT for human beings" — offers free annual health reviews to eligible patients, including blood and urine tests, blood pressure checks, and personalised care planning. It's exactly the kind of proactive, preventative care we believe every patient deserves.

At The Palms Surgery, we're proud to be part of this nationally recognised programme, and stories like Rina and Brian's are a wonderful reminder of why early detection and ongoing monitoring matter so much. If you think you may be eligible, please don't hesitate to get in touch with our team.
